Watching Mental Health Episode 7 | Trinh Dang
Trinh Dang is the Executive Director of NAMI Southern Nevada, a peer-led grassroots mental health nonprofit that aims to support, educate and advocate for individuals and families impacted by mental health conditions. As someone with lived experience with mental health challenges and seeing it first hand with family members, she is a passionate mental health advocate. Trinh completed NAMIβs Family-to-Family 12-week class in 2012 and became a volunteer teacher in 2013, helping dozens of families navigate mental health challenges over the past decade with a class that changed her life.
On this episode of Watching Mental Health, Katie Waechter and NAMI Southern Nevada Executive Director, Trinh Dang, will discuss the nonprofit approach to mental health support, and learn more about mental health resources and advocacy in Nevada.
